PetTransporter Worldwide*, with offices throughout the U.S. and representation in Europe, specializes in family pet transportation for dogs and cats.

With over 20 years experience, we can transport your pet ANYWHERE in the world. We can arrange for all of your pet’s trip planning, airline arrangements and door to door pickup and delivery.

We offer the following pet transport services:

  • flight and ground transportation
  • care in between flight connections when necessary
  • airline, TSA and USDA documentation
  • boarding
  • any other service your pet may need while en route.

In short, we take the “hassle” out of pet transport.

You can feel comfortable knowing that all of our pet transportation staff, agents and drivers are experienced professionals. Your pets are chauffeured in heated and air-conditioned vans. All drivers carry cell phones, so each office knows where your pet is during every phase of the trip. All pets in our care get lots of attention and are given time for food, exercise and bathroom breaks.

Our goal is stress free pet transportation. We use the quickest and most direct routes and only approved boarding facilities. We guide our customers and help arrange for all pet health certificates and required TSA and USDA documents and permits. Your pets are transported in approved airline kennels (carriers) based on pet size requirements.

Many pet owners have asked us where their pet is located during the flight. Pets are transported in the live animal cargo section of the plane which is insulated, pressurized and temperature controlled. The temperature is the same as it is in the passenger area of the plane. Your pet can rest comfortably in his or her crate during the flight. When you use the cargo system, pets are put on the plane last and taken off first to assure their safety.

Excessive heat or cold can prohibit airline pet transportation. Airlines place restrictions on pet transport due to temperature. These restrictions are referred to as heat and cold embargos. These policies are implemented during the warm and cold weather months to prevent illness or death. Although the temperature in the live animal cargo area of an airliner is controlled during the flight, the embargos take into account the temperature on the tarmac (runway) before take off and upon arrival. We arrange for the best time to transport your pet during the winter and summer months. This is especially important in the summer for pug-nosed dogs and snub-nosed cats who are more susceptible to oxygen deprivation and heat stroke.

You may have read about the suggested use of tranquilizers during air travel on some pet related information sites. This is dangerous advice that can be fatal to your pet. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), air transport of sedated pets may be fatal. PetTransporter Worldwide will NOT transport a pet that has been sedated. We can help our customers acclimate their pets to air travel before a trip takes place to help prepare them for their journey. We specialize in providing services that are in the best interest of the family pet.
